After opening your eyes each morning, what do you do first?

Do you take a quick glance at your phone? Flip on the TV? Do a quick email or text check?

If so, what did you invite into the sacred space of your bedroom and your mind?

Checking in with the world before we check in with ourselves means someone or something else is igniting our brains, endorphins, and adrenaline. We are off and running for our day before leaving the bedroom—with others’ voices leading us, with someone else’s agenda.

Her Best Life co-founder Sarah Reynolds knows quite a bit about this. She is wonderfully vulnerable and relatable when sharing her story of how her old habit often took a toll on her energy before even getting out of bed.
